L&F CG Benchmark is a public framework for examining how firms make their people, services and specialist expertise visible and commercially useful. Legal Kommersialisering is its first industry application, with one approved law firm analysis published so far.
Where it started
The working question was: Do law firms that commercialize their services better become more profitable over time?
That relationship has not been established. Moving this project to Built means that the method and the public product now exist. It does not mean the profitability hypothesis has been proved.
What we built
The legal analysis uses 58 questions across seven equally weighted areas. Each answer is assessed against public sources, reviewed, and scored on a 1–5 scale. The seven area averages form a total score from 7 to 35. A method version travels with each published analysis so later results can be seen over time even as the method develops.
The first approved analysis is Økland, with a score of 18.47 out of 35. The public Legal site has a firm view, a ranking, comparison between two firms, short explanations of the areas, and a way to contact us about a result. A private publishing flow accepts approved analyses and keeps earlier results in the history.
The main site introduces the commercialization wheel: six connected processes around commercial governance and coordination. The same visual form connects the broader model to Legal's results.

What I am learning from it
The public score can describe what a law firm makes observable. It cannot establish whether an internal practice is used effectively or whether it improves profit. That boundary is useful: it keeps the analysis repeatable and shows a firm exactly what an outside buyer can find.
The next work is to add more complete firm analyses, learn where the method needs clarification, and test the separate profitability question with suitable financial data over time.
